This fun and engaging program motivates young women and girls to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Whether it is learning fitness tips from a personal trainer or whipping up some delicious healthy treats, the GURLs will discover the upside of taking care of themselves and becoming physically fit.
The participants are also encouraged, through supportive group activities, to understand and embrace their identity, to make positive life choices and most importantly, to begin a life-long beautiful relationship with themselves!
YOU GO GURL! is open to girls between the ages of 8 -16 years old, with a group tailored to those under and over 12 years old. The program takes place twice a week (Thursdays and Saturdays) and each session is 3 hours long. Homework help and healthy snacks are provided at every session.
