She brings many years of experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, and corporate sponsorship to her role. She has held management positions with Ivanhoe Cambridge, Universal Music Canada, and the Toronto Jazz Festival.

Brenda is a member of the Black Canadian Fundraising Collective and Junior League of Toronto. She is particularly passionate about the health and well-being of children, education, and the arts.

Brenda is committed to giving back through various charities and causes. She enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family and friends.
