Debra is an accomplished business and community leader with over 15 years experience transforming organizations and communities through strategic activities focused on promoting the health, safety and well-being for all of us. She is a certified health and safety professional and paralegal.  

Over the years, she has gained extensive experience leading and serving on boards and associations, within the church, community and education sectors. From 2015 to 2018, she served as the President of the Board for Taibu Community Health Centre, which focuses on advancing the health and wellbeing for individuals within the Black community of the GTA. 

She is passionate about volunteering and has been doing so since the tender age of seven. Debra lives in Toronto and enjoys connecting with family and friends, near and far.  Debra is honoured to partner with the HopeWorks Connection Inc. family in creating opportunities and maximizing abilities for the children and youth of today and tomorrow.
