Gailene Prime-RamsayGailene is an outstanding performer/choreographer/ dance instructor coming from the beautiful spice island of Carriacou, Grenada.  She started dancing at the tender age of 5 with the Nations Dance ( “Big Drum” ). After migrating to Canada, Gailene joined Caribbean Folk Performers and later became their Associate Artistic Director. She then furthered her dance training with Ballet Jorgen, Canboulay Dance Theatre, Ballet Creole, Heritage Singers and Menaka Thakka company. Currently, along with being the dance director for The Toronto Children’s Concert Choir & Performing Arts Company (TC3), she teaches the African and Caribbean dance classes as well as choreographs pieces for TC3’s performances. Gailene is also the Artistic Director for Flambeaux Performing Arts.
